#BLM

On May 25, 2020, George Floyd - a black man, an African American - was murdered by Derek Chauvin - a Minneapolis police officer - by having his neck knelt on till he suffocated. The ensuing civil movement, tired of endless police brutality and racial prejudice and injustice, sparked worldwide marches, demonstrations and violence against police, policy, and racism. I had to find my own way to speak up about these events and how I saw these issues affect myself and those around me. Each post seeks to deal with the issue of racial intolerance in optimistic, realistic, and condemning tones.

Each poster is linked to its Instagram post for greater context and a small accompanying written piece.
